The fact is at this point..as Party's..there is difference in rhetoric alone..I agree..that is what angered me about McCain...there was not much difference between him and O where it came to their Fiscal policies..McCain lost it with the Conservatives when he endorced the bailout..which shamefully was brought in by Bush..A few things McCain had going for him to me was I felt safer with him at the helm and he brought in Palin..

Palin took him from 5 points down to ten points ahead in a weeks time..now here is where many may disagree with me..I feel McCain was in on the scam to have O elected President..Palin was brought in as the fall guy..to be the reason he would fail and still salvage his pollitical career as well as those established in the Republican Heirarchy...when her presence had the opposite affect..they unleashed the media and put her in a closet...boom..mission accomplished.

Sad thing is..we have a viable third Party in place that I am a member of...just not on paper. The Libertarian Party..I believe there are more Libertatians out there than either Democrats or Republicans..they just don't vote that way because they feel it will be a wasted vote...At the Tea Party I attended...most of those I talked to there were Libertarians..

To me..the one hope the Republican party has is Palin..she is the one that has the Democrats scared..she is the one they are talking about..she has the appeal to the young crowd that O had when he ran..but more than that..She appeals to the working crowd with her no nonsense approach to eliminating wasteful spending. She has already proved that in Alaska.

She is intelligent enough to not offend the intellectual ...do you hear of the Democrats talking about Romney?..Huckaby?..or any other viable candidate from the Republican Party??..Not really.

The only thing I will say about Carter..IMO his biggest accomplishment was making it legal to do Home Brews...and he probably did that as a favor to his brother Billy..<g>

I agree smaller Government..we have no business taking over the financial district..the Auto industry..healthcare..Insurance..and behind the scenes they are already working on the farming industry.

As far as Iraq and Afghanistan go..with no clear mission and no sign of support from O we should get out..we are endangering our young warriors lives needlessly...the problem is..O I believe really wants a presence over there and I think he wants to expand into Pakistan..I personally think he is holding the troops out of Afghanistan to embolden the Taliban and Al Qaeda to give us reason to go into Pakistan...more games and more lives lost..

On healthcare..I agree we shouldn't be having the discussions we are having on it now at all..If they want to make health insurance affordable to all..do TORT reform and allow all insurance Companies to sell nationwide..allow the Capitalistic Market to work..It would truly cost our Government nothing and would dramatically lower the cost of insurance. But it is evident that is not really their goal..they want to control the Insurance industry IMO..

We are in agreement with the goals of our politicians..they are for the most part..self serving instead of being there to serve our interests..what a shame..the idea of public servant is dead..with just a few exceptions.
