Pontius : you need to do a remote scan: I don`t know 100% if McAfee does this.Think so.If not,TOTALLY DISABLE your McAfee,go to Symantec.com or Download.com to get to symantec free and do a remote scan.
Guarantee you have trojan(s).
10000000% worse than spyware.
A remote scan picks up trojans that hide from your everyday virus protection.
Trojans use your computer to proliferate their mission rendering you as user useless.
New HD would solve everything yes but big pain in the ass.
