Mid,

How do you come up with PM line being on the market for "four" years? Regardless of what EI has claimed over the past 4 years...wasn't the PM line in a development stage until a few months ago? Won't the 3rd quarter 10Q be the first full quarter of PM caskets.

As for e-bay, most of the products (except AKC) looked very unfinished to me. You can't compare the sale of unfinished products on ebay with sales of finished products in funeral industry catalogues and showrooms. Give me a break!

I have taken care of a couple of funerals and trusts in my family. I never once, and doubt I ever will look for the burial products on E-bay or at Walmart. Maybe others would, but not me.

Funny to read how many people once thought branded products in the funeral industry were an incredible idea and now believe it's not. I believe this idea is the still wave of the future. But it will take time for the industry to change. My wife wants a Louis Vitton liner...even though she's only owned knock-off's...LMAO

Inexperienced management has made MANY mistakes that have held the company back and it is at a very pivotal survival point IMO. I still think they have a shot at pulling it off for the very reason that some think it will fail. They are a design and consulting firm now that has been accepted into the mainstream funeral industry.

EI can get "lean and mean" IF they choose... i.e. cut the cars and the bonuses out. If management still believes in the idea and I think they do...they will focus on expanding their sku's to increase sales. Who cares if they have 1 sku that sells 1000 units, or 1000 sku's that sells 1 unit. EI's expertise has to be with designing products and maintaining "good" licenses now. They just re-signed PM which adds credibility. Vatican...oh well!

EI has shown they can put a high end "major" licensed product on the market...Can anyone posting, bashing, moping here claim that? And yes EI DOES have sales, although not profitable yet. I think most people are posting here because they are still looking for an opportunity to make some money on this...right? Or maybe just here to "kick a dead horse while it's down"???

GLTY...I have a bid in again!
