small market Tampa cannot compete with the Yankees on spending,or Boston and Baltimore for that matter.They are like a lot of poorer teams when one of their prospects becomes a star they can`t afford to keep them.Look at all the guys Montreal had through the years and had to let go.
I`m an Orioles fan and I see Tampa all season they do have a few great young guys but thin pithching especially after dealing Zambrano to the Mets .Another guy they wouldnt be able to afford to keep.
