Sounds like they started with smaller pipe, thus smaller drill bits and drilling a lot faster.

They must have found something in the samples that looked good to them to run all those logs.

7" OD casing would be as big as they can run in a 8 1/2 hole.

But the best part is 6 floaters!! To me!
