We already know electric cars are not the answer. -- If a scenario for electric cars was profitable, because sunlight, water, and wind are free, you'd see all available land around cities used for solar panels and wind turbines -- you'd also see every river in America lined with water wheel generators producing hydro-power.

The amount of additional electricity needed to take on the responsibility of running electric cars is just to costly -- both to implement and with regards to our natural resources.

Technology to decrease or maybe even eliminate the need for oil is the answer. (The type of technology xynh is experimenting with.)
