Roni--except that the "45% of the populace" number is misleading.

Remember, that's based on the 105 million who voted last time--plus, possibly, another 5 million expected additional new registered voters, maybe 110 million total.

However, that still leaves another 90 million or so who *could* vote but never do (although this year, that's a wild card), plus another 100 million who aren't eligible (too young, in jail, whatever).

The truly sad thing is that only about 50 million people voted for the schmuck who's botched things up so badly (granted, only about 50.5 million voted for the guy who opposed him, but you get my point); that is to say, only about 17% of the country actually said "I want Bush to run the show".

My question is, what in the hell is wrong with those other 90 million eligible voters every 4 years??
