What exactly is the difference? I'm not 100% sure what the illegitimacy rate is referring to, but it probably means that 65% of black children are born out of wedlock.
I would like to see the stats on that. There is a big difference in what you think it means and the fact that of the illigitimate children born, 65% are black.
I think you meant to say that you don't blame all of the ills of the world on racism. And yes, I do think that there are many out there that blame all of the problems black people face on racism. Jesse Jackson is the leader of that field of thought.
I don't think that even Jesse believes that, but he will do whatever he can to champion the cause. If he has to focus on racism to get something done, then he will. Don't we all tend to over exaggerate to make our point?
The culture perpetuates an anti-education, anti-work ethic mentality.
I think that poverty perpetuates that mentality, not the color of your skin.

I have to get busy at work. My alter ego has been having too good a time over there insulting people at my hearts content. I am hoping to go on the road next week - that will keep me busy.
