I sent an e-mail to the patent office expressing my disgust at the apparent worthlessness of patent protection when reexams are so easy to obtain and go on for so long. We went down from $2 a share to .10c when the reexams started 3 years ago. I think any money here is dead for years. No ignorant jury of laypeople is going to award money to TPL when the defendants can just point to the USPTO and say "a REEXAM was allowed so there is doubt as to the patents worth". As this reexam progresses I expect we will see another one filed just in case we still are a going entity after this one is done. Sometimes I wonder if this is not all a conspiracy to get rid of all of us pesky shareholders.
