I've unloaded most of my GIM at a tidy profit and invested the proceeds in gold stocks... sure looks like you're right in regard to sentiment/direction of gold stocks... being amongst the lunatic fringe is quite enjoyable...

If gold breaks out big, probably will make little difference what gold stocks one owns and the baseball cards will likely outperform the producers...

If gold cannot break out nicely past $430 before next Friday, i.e. GDP 4%+ day, will likely take some profits...

Bought back some NGX today @ US$1.89 and bought some NL as a nice baseball card... NGX will be reporting a very nice profit on 10/27 given POG and price of copper since they are now mining higher grade ore. The negative news on Brenda Gold-Copper project is irrelevant, not a core property and NGX just had an option on it... Would not be surprised to see NGX raise EPS guidance for 4Q given current prices. Wildcard will be how their cash costs performed with rising C$.

Have very large position in ARQ now and anticipate your stock picking prowess is accurate in this regard given my understanding of ARQ... Added some more EDV on this latest pullback, EDV now trading at 35% discount.
