*****JDA UPDATE*****

Ok, I just spoke to my JDA Source. I wanted to confirm what Platts source gave to me via Luis Prazeres of STP.

Source confirmed block 2 mostly gas and Blocks 3 and 4 JDZ mostly oil. No details on amounts yet of course as still going thru analysis process.

He said the Chinese are "Very excited and encouraged" about the gas in block 2 because gas is what they want as well as oil. He said "Sinopec is not too choosey about what they find. They want hydrocarbons both oil and gas." He stressed over and over how pleased they were about the gas.

Can some of the more intellectual O&G people on the board educate us on why Sinopec is so excited about the gas in blk 2 also???? I have heard it is more profitable than oil but don't know enough about it. Nevertheless, it seems to be GREAT NEWS from what JDA is saying. Also good to see mostly "predominantly" Oil and blocks 3-4.

Last thing he said was that Malanza blk 4 prospect is currently being drilled and going well so far. Without incident.
