Yes it should...Whatever the date is that you have to own the stock to get the divi then the next day it should be 10.00 cheaper. Also the options will adjust for it also or should.

It did on the NPD stock when it paid a 1.50 special divi in Sept.

I bought options on the NPD for that reason thinking I might make a quick buck for that. I have 7.50 PUTS and figured it be around 6 after divi and then my 7.50 puts be worth atleast 1.50 but my options adjusted and became 6.00 PUTS.
