Founders Message #8
To All the Friends and Shareholders of Laser Energetics:
The Team at Laser Energetics is working relentlessly in pursuit of our goals. We are now successfully launching the Dazer Laser™ Light Fighting Technology product line. I can solidly say great sales order success is close at hand before the end of 2009, which will ultimately translate into great profitability in 2010. For the first time in our history we will be able to bring a product to market which will have world wide appeal with several billion dollars in market potential. The Dazer Laser™ GUARDIAN and DEFENDER are on the launch pad ready for take off.
Where are we in the process? Considering that we officially launched the product on Memorial Day (May 25th 2009), we have achieved product validation and branding recognition by some very significant companies and institutions. We are responding to calls from all over the world with great interest and demand for the product.
We now have many Manufacturers Representative Groups that are making big in-roads
in the USA, Canada, Brazil, Turkey, Panama, Latin America, the Caribbean, England, India, South Korea, Australia, Philippines, UAE and several other countries in Europe.
The Sales pipe line is filling up rapidly for the Dazer Laser™ because the first level sales teams infrastructure is in place. With our Director of Sales, Market and Business Development Manager, Inside Sales Supervisor, Military & Law Enforcement “Outside Sales Team Members / Consultants”, and many Manufacturers Representatives in place, the sales prospect pipeline is filling up rapidly and aggressively. Our Manufacturers Representatives have been trained and are aggressively filling the sales pipeline.
It is important to note that the process for these type of sales are not like that of retail, consumer, or even capital equipment sales. We are selling non- lethal weapons and are dealing with government law enforcement agencies, militaries, and private bonded security agencies hired and licensed by governments. These organizations all have budgets. Because we are not currently in these agencies budgets, in order for them to buy these devices they look for discretionary funds. This happened this summer with a very high up government official stating clearly that they would place an order for the Dazer Lasers before the end of August. Unfortunately, he was over-zealous because he wanted the product so much, but he had some hurdles to jump through to get the financing. The good news is the order is pending and the financing is now in place. We now have five (5) medium and large orders pending. I believe we will close the majority of them before year end 2009. I’m positive I will be reporting good news in the near future regarding sales before year end.
Status of Projects:
• Dazer Laser™ - As previously mentioned, we have completed and are now marketing and selling two categories of the Dazer Laser™ product line. With our highly trained sales team, we are now engaged in the promotion, marketing and sales of the products in over 20 countries. We have quoted over $500M in
Dazer Laser products, with many more requests for quotes coming shortly. The pipeline is filling and our hard working team anticipates victory.
We will be attending on November 17-19, 2009 a trade show in Atlantic City, NJ called the New Jersey State League of Municipalities. The Dazer Laser Team will have a 10’ x 10’ booth at the show. This show can be found at: www.njslom.org.
This is the 94th Annual conference. It is attended by all branches of law enforcement in NJ and the people who write the laws for law enforcement. Our attendance is part of our long term strategy to get the Dazer Laser™ - Light Fighting Technologies written into law, first in New Jersey (one of the only states that bans TASER weapons) and then into the rest of the country.
In addition, we have conducted a successful demonstration to one of the largest privately operated prison systems in the US. The demonstration was accompanied by eye examinations of the dazed subjects, with eye tests taken both prior to the Dazing and after the Dazing. We received two thumbs up (way up!) with this test of five of their personnel. The tests proved that our products can truly be operated “eye-safe” at all ranges. More to come on this.
I will say our company worked around the clock to get the full powered version the prison company is looking to purchase ready for the Demo. In fact, I missed game 4 of the World Series (in Philadelphia) because I personally volunteered to be Dazed on Sunday November 1, 2009. The Dazer did its job and I missed the game. It was worth it. Dazer Lasers – KICK ASS, including mine! We will demo the Dazer Laser for Israel this month, some select Caribbean countries, Brazil, Canada, and some groups in the USA.
We will also have a meeting at a Canadian event (www.truepatriotlove.org) which will have the Canadian Minister of Defense, Generals and Wardens of prisons at the event. It has already been arranged for them to be introduced to the Dazer Laser by one of our rep organizations.
Stay tuned for some positive developments on our developments on TRT, Remote Sensing, and Photo Acoustic Imaging (using our BrightStar FLP Alexandrite Laser) in the next Founders Message coming out before Thanksgiving.
