Here is the way I see the direction of BEHL, they are in the business of manufacturing PBR and selling those systems. It seems that any algae they grow will be sold as nutritional supplement at a higher rate than what bio-diesel sells for. In addition to selling and setting up the PBRs they are selling their services for managing and consulting those systems. Everyone seems to upset that Dennis is not selling bio-diesel when he more or less stated that if he had 500 acres of PBRs set up now he would not be able to fill his purchase orders and that concerns me more than anything. I do believe he will manufacture PBRs for the bio-diesel segment.
Now let me address hurricanes force winds, I lived on the Gulf of Mexico a few years back. BEHLs system would be completely displaced by winds and tidal surges where as if the RWE system faced the same conditions and it was anchored properly would have a better chance of survival. On the gulf you build your house on piers 1 story above the ground mainly for tidal surges but I believe it helps for the winds as well, now a direct hit of a Katrina you pretty much just put your head between your knees and kiss your butt goodbye.
