No, they take the splits into account. Look at Dell for an example. If you look at the historic prices off of Yahoo, it would look like you could buy shares for pennies in the 1980 and even the 1990's. But the initial IPO was for 8.50 a share. http://www.answers.com/topic/dell-technology will show that. That being said, NEOM is gonna be a monster.
