LG, I second Sam_0: ME is worst Windows version of the last 10 years.

XP is one of the best versions ever, but you might have reserves regarding security. (it sends your hardware configuration back to Redmond for copy protection)

Otherwise Windows 2000 is very stable, but some programs don't run (because it's mostly Windows NT with a facelift)

But it's in your best interest to get out of Windows ME...
