yeah, i am surprised how aggressive they are - seem to predict an east jog off land right now whereas most of the models keep it straight north. I think realistically, you could expect a tropical storm once it enters the gulf at Yucatan - any deviation east and it should be a minimal hurricane (as it should miss yucatan entirely). Then it comes down to any movement towards Florida (which has the warmer waters and should sustain intensity), or straight north which would be cooler waters. Need to see where it is once it emerges off Nicaragua/hondurus.
