#38_ Recognise the Supernatural Power of God's Word _________ For the word of God is quick, and powerful, and sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart (Heb. 4:12). --------------------------------------------------------------------------------The Word of God is quick, powerful, and sharp. It can help an individual to overcome depression. It can help us disern which thoughts are of God and which thoughts are not. The depressed individual needs to remember that God condemns his sinful behavior but not him. God desires that the depressed individual change his negitive, self-derogatory thinking.
