In other words, I am questioning whether the Aztec code is being intended strictly for unique applications, the type that require utmost security. In this regard, whenever a government employee, and airline representative, or perhaps a police officer sees an Aztec code, they immediately understand that the information it links to is highly secure.

Again, this may not be the case at all, but it does stand to reason that people tend to visually classify information and that the Aztec code could potentially be used for this purpose.

Should this not be the case, then we should eventually view Aztec codes on many campaigns from NeoMedia since they would enjoy the associated brand recognition.
