Today's NR puts a slightly different spin on the share buy back program. Initially the company was going to buy back up to 20% of the stock and place them in the Treasury for use as incentives for employees downstream. This would not reduce the O/S, but would reduce the float. Today's NR states that $250K has been allocated for the first two weeks of November to buy back (about 15 mil at today's prices) worth of stock to be "retired" to the treasury, thus reducing the O/S. Of course this would also reduce the float. That's a somewhat significant change IMHO from the previous buy back...
