Yeah, I want to believe that, too. But that doesn't make it a valid prediction. This, coupled with your other post about claytrader, suggests that you don't understand the point of technical analysis, or even what it is. It's not about being right, it's about having a measured thesis based on historical price patterns and volume tendencies. That's what makes ClayTrader worth listening to (for swings and trades), while chartisttoo just belts out two widely varying price points and calls it technical analsysis. That's what annoys me. That and his curious timing.

Some of the best chartists in history, whose books are in the library and read and referenced throughout the world, make predictions based on charts that don't pan out. But more often than not, they do pan out. They say the very best ones get it right 3 times for every 1 time they get it wrong.

For you to dismiss claytrader because the price fell through a minor level of support is ridiculous. But not as ridiculous as giving credence to the gigantic and arbitrary range of chartistoo. Hell, I hope he's right and we all get to see $1.81. But to make that prediction while we're down here, AND call that analysis, is simply absurd.
