You said that since SPNG is on the grey market their filings are voluntary, and this makes you wonder why we are seeing the ownership filings.
I'm not sure I agree. The ownership filings are primarily the responsibility of the persons or entity owning the shares. And SPNG has not been de-registered. So, while SPNG might be behind on their filings, I would think that owners still have a requirement to file their forms on a timely basis.
But I'm not a lawyer and would be interested in knowing if filing ownership on a grey market stock is voluntary.
