The more I research and do the Due Diligence on potential investments, the more I discover that regardless of the due diligence one force on the internet is a force that will have to be addressed, "The Influential Basher." If it is left to fester and the regulators refuse to approach or investigate these individuals, a company demonstrates a lack of understanding just how powerful these types really are on the Internet today.

It used to be the "Poor-Me" types whining and crying as disgruntled investors, were the main bashers. However, their influence is only effective as to the number of "Poor-Me" type followers they can draw to their whines. The lack of business savvy or not having a shred of business knowledge does not build influence. Boo-Hoo-Hoo can only be tolerated for so long by even the lowest intelligence.

As the Internet grows so does "The Influential Basher." First of all, these bashers are out for total loyalty and to convert as many positives to their propaganda. By adapting the ways of the lying Pump & Dump expert, the other side of the coin is a lot easier to convert the less critical or independent thinkers in the investment world. I have noticed that they even hate having the "Poor-Me" types and would rather create multiple aliases that get a following of ridiculous whiners.

So how do these influential bashers manipulate the masses? Easy, they have 5 little areas they have to dominate effectively.

1. Arriving in a time of stress - There is not a better time to arrive to a stock to conveniently attempt to gain control than low volume with a fall in stock price. Simply, there is no worry of any volume that may cause volume alerts on trader’s screens. Combined with a drop in price, the plays are to further upset the investors or long term holders. Obviously most anyone except those that have the power to play the market down for financial gain, are typically confused and upset with the downward fall in price. An outsider from Cyberspace can merely arrive at a time of price recession and try to gather as many stressed out followers as possible that will agree with select focal points as an excuse for their loss.

2. Resistance to the factual information – The old impression management tactic is if you say it enough times and with conviction you will always get support. The bashing redundancy of predictions or focus twisted information need not have a ring of truth to it because if it is in print; it can't be wrong … or it at the very least it has to have some kernel of truth, according to some. Thus the cultivation of fear of failure, high risk-taking and high self-belief can be effectively introduced to potential followers and thus a new innovative guru has been spawn through deception methods.

3. Theatricality - Through transmogrification rhetoric, the theatrics are so well played that some soap operas writers are envious. This gross, vulgar, grotesquely offensive style is credited with a great deal of boldness and recklessness, especially for the truth. Harmless entertainment is the excuse but in reality it is nothing more than employed dramatic gestures among the players in a critical game of deception before the viewing public. If they can't get followers then they play all the roles themselves through multiple aliases.

4. Impression management - Predictions of further drops in stock price, goodwill attacks and various others bashing cards establishes the integrity of this bashing visionary. By being relentless and always following through on symbolic gestures such a insulting name calling against targets, even to the point of god and family, the benefit is not that some will be offended but the powerful benefit is to exhibit deep conviction that can no longer be sheltered by qualities of humility and silence.

Media influence - The key media influence is to find a liberal message board site that is only concerned with page hits. Selective regulation, monitoring, & TOS enforcement is another key component for the Basher’s consideration. This is because sites, such as Raging Bull where it appears 90% of the advertisers are brokerages until recently there is a ridiculous Java Pop up ad that most just kill or turn off their Java, are a perfect cesspool for the hidden agendas of the influential basher. These sites prefer members to use the ignore feature but do nothing in the way of monitoring and regulating. Thus these charismatic bashers go unchecked for personal attacks, twisted lies, multiple aliases, and message board disruption as they build up in the public eye a self-touted success of predictions. The key is the more attention the basher gets in their criticizing twists of material facts, misleading, false and defamatory statements, the more expose their receive. The more exposure the more followers they will gather, which they will not hesitate to tout the rebellious posters that were once positive.

Any small investor that has been on line for any length of time comes to recognize the phenomena of these charismatic bashers that dominate and take over the thread with vengeance. These anti-Plato bashers use any type of deception or twist in their attempts to being considered a divine source and thus define their online character. This self-making credibility is an essential component as they appoint themselves to power. By total conviction and posting what they believe it to be their destiny, thus they will attract exuberant and enthusiastic cadres of willing converted followers.

To challenge these Influential Bashers with filings, news releases, facts and even verifications, they will not easily allow for their fall from grace. They have risen at a time of economic crisis with a newness of logic and anti-establishment values to evoke devotional, obedient and often passionate psychological responses to recruit followers. Thus they have an army to wield its authority derived from belief only, and it is as radical as it is personal.

What separates these Influential Bashers from the "Poor-Me" types in general are attributes such as an overriding sense of mission, complete self-confidence, resistance to and a plan for escape from the status quo and setting a strong personal example. They have to and must be able to impress upon their growing followers the truth of their vision through highly theatrical methods. Constantly, the agenda and implication is a strong level of financial danger for followers who accept facts and verified events rather than the self-belief truth of an irrational or delusional basher.

Influential Bashers must cultivate and adopt effective rhetorical and persuasive communication strategies in order to recruit and motivate their followers. This is a dangerous combination with they align the art of persuasion with propaganda and brainwashing, in unison with the personal attachments these bashers inspire, which often can lead to charges of manipulation. The more diabolical the basher, such as Hitler or Charles Manson, this points to the important relationship between ethics and attraction, facts and convenient speculation.

One event the Influential Bashers avoid is any of the spawning various Internet sites, such as InvestorsHUB, where the solid reputable posters go to avoid the unregulated sewers. There the bashers are outside their element and thus open for exposure. These new upcoming sites have a strict no-tolerance attitude for personal attacks, stalking, multiple aliases, and vulgarity or message board disruption. Many a site has fallen because of their unfocused attitudes off the basic principals of a clean site. Thus by caring only about page hits they have slipped into the sewer of the Internet.

To try and handle the movement to another thread the Influential Basher will refuse to go to the new site to post but will frequently visit to stay on top of what facts or verifications are being expressed. Thus with this knowledge they address the following to invade the site while they can remain safe in the septic tank where they are confident they will not be exposed.

They misuse their freedom of speech, influence and expression as they plan their bash campaign to effectively manipulate a stock price.
