Mathematically, accumulation can appear a dominate force, depending how the bid/ask is executed. I gave a real-time demonstration of this using Washington Mutual in a grad skool class I had and Kmart in another example. Your post points out another possibility, but one usually found to be real at much lower price levels.

The last three days lack volume that normally proves indicative of shennanigans. Are they on vacation or is an event nearing?
