And the "its for the poor", self-congratulatory, always generous with OTHER PEOPLES MONEY crowd has always felt as you do.
You want the poor to have top-flight insurance? Pay for it yourself. Or rather, start a foundation and try to get people to voluntarily donate to make it happen. But please don't use the government to force your neighbors to pay for your own good intentions.
