Maisel Excavating is not the contractor for refurbishing the mill. The only thing Maisel Excavating did was excavation on the tailings ponds by following guidelines and orders that Wally of CDRMS, Colorado Division of Reclamation Mining and Safety that included a new pond high water line and re-grading for proper drainage of the tailings from the upper pond and a new pipeline for monitoring of ground water levels.
He also has been working for CGFI the last 2 ½ yrs. Cleaning up the area, fixing roads that the BLM wanted done that helped back some funding for CGFI and participated in the core drilling. He also said “the mill plans are in and the Geological reports are in”. “We do have the electricity installed but need a few poles planted” and “After that is done it looks to me that the mill needs about one month of work inside and outside before we are ready to Rock & Roll".
He said “there is another group that is working inside the mill and from his perspective the mills near completion”
He mentioned that there are up to three mining outfits in the Gunnison and Lake City area taking their ore to California for processing and along with the people of Silverton they have great interest in CGFI’s compleation of the Howardsville Mill.
He said CGFI has paid him on time without problems and that he too is invested highly in CGFIA stock. He said Ferguson is one sharp Geologist and is on top of the plans for refurbishing the mill. Also, he said the “Essay Lab is huge for CGFI”and that "a person in Silverton is ready to man the lab”.
Pete Maisel went on to say “I have a friend who mines in the Columbia area and has informed me that if these guys get into that claim down there it would be huge for the company, that place is loaded”.
He also invited me to come stay at his hotel in Silverton next Spring and would assist me in any way to get me up to the mine area and around the Ross Basin.
At the end of our conversation we exchanged email addys to keep in-touch on any news regarding the mill.
So lets put the stupid rumor to rest that the freaks on the giggle board started by saying “Maisel Construction is the only company working on the mill and they only have one employee doing it” That is so wrong. I suggest that if you want real DD, do it yourself and don’t get it from the one freak with four or five aliases on the giggle board.
Mr.Maisel's attitude and excitement refreshed why I invested in this company in the first place. But he also said "I'm not 100%
sure all these plans will take place due to the economy and funding of CGFI and things no one can forsee but it sure looks to me that CGFI is ready to Rock & Roll next Spring".
Take all this as you will...good or bad, I'm just the messenger and have done my best to reveal to you on this board exactly how our conversation went.
