I keep checking with my friends on the island. Nothing has really changed on the island except there are no tourists. Flights to the island are being cancelled, small business are moth balled or closed and the times are tough. The cruise lines and the big golf course next to my property are still moving ahead. The Chinese and the Russians learned that capitalism works and communism does not work. The Chinese have the heavy hand of communism to control dissent and use the capitalism model to make money. Hugo and Obama want the heavy hand of communism to take away the rights of the individual. Is the battle of Honduras the beginning of the end for the communist take over on the American continents? Or is this the end of the line for people like me that worked hard, saved money and invested in Central America. I made donations in Roatan to schools and the clinic. Will Hugo send in his goons to take the island? I do not think Obama will invade the island to install the communist system. He will be very busy trying to keep the system in the White House.
