Neoreader on iphone. Touch the HELP icon on the neoreader and this is what you will see. Product barcodes. The barcodes found on most consumer products, incuding books, currently cannot be scanned by the iphone. These include the UPC, ISBN, EAN.and JAN barcodes. Unfortunately, the iphone camera does not focus well enough to allow these types of barcodes to be scanned... Note however that you can still use the ENTER CODE button to type in the product code number that appears below these barcodes. I have an older iphone so
I do have issues when scanning with any of the scanners.
but I also keep my phone in my front pocket, which I am sure that has caused my lens to be scratched.I will have to take better care of my next phone.
