Any one have a thought on these 4's ??? Looking into these ALAN form 4's seems to be no big deal ....May just be a issue of shares in exchange for due dividends.. "Non-Convertible Preferred Stock in Lieu of Cash for Series D Preferred Dividends" ......Except for one thing...... If you notice some are at the rate of 10.00 per share......
That seems pretty high...... Has there been any talk of a take over? I dug up info on Preferred stock with a high rate compared to current pps.... Is this the case here??? Still learning about this stuff folks..... Also some companies issue preferred when certain financial goals have been reached for the company......

Some corporations contain provisions in their charters authorizing the issuance of preferred stock whose terms and conditions may be determined by the board of directors when issued. These "blank check" preferred shares are often used as takeover defense (see also poison pill). These shares may be assigned very high liquidation value that must be redeemed in the event of a change of control or may have enormous supervoting powers.

Occasionally companies use preferred shares as means of preventing hostile takeovers, creating preferred shares with a poison pill or forced exchange/conversion features that exercise upon a change in control.
All IMO here.....Just trying to get a idea of direction
