Genta in November - Going Forward

October 26, 2009.

We are finally here. This is the last week of October, and November is going to be a crazy month. We are waiting for the release of AGENDA, of course, Genta’s confirmatory Phase III Trial that imho will have outstanding results with the PFS data. Along with this trial, Genta will be releasing the NYU study, as well as another trial. They will be presenting these at four different conferences in November. The first, is on November 12th, 2009, in New York. The other three take place after in Germany.

This means that AGENDA will be released by November 12th the very latest, obviously, since it is a topic of discussion at that conference.

Along with this they have stated that they will be filing for EMEA approval. They also are going to wrap up the rest of this drug with the new dosage and release that as well.

Along with this, they have a 14 day clause in the SEC filling that states that they can keep financing out of the public eye for 14 days after the release of AGENDA. They can tell no one except “the financers” what they are doing. Baker Bros, Tang, Ray, Itri, etc.

One would be led to believe that if the results are in fact as perfect as can be, that they will be seeking out one or more partnerships for Genasense, as Ray has already said these talks have begun. He has stated that the valuation of Genasense will become clear once the trials are released to the public. Ray has also talked about Tesetaxel partnerships possibly coming in Q4 as well.

So it shapes up to be a great month. This week, we’re certainly looking to make a move back over .80, and I hope we start the move back over $1 sooner rather than later.

My guess for AGENDA is November 3rd.

And don’t forget the Earnings will be out as well. There will be a conference call within the next four weeks imho.

Don’t listen to the message board users that say that AGENDA is going to be bad SOLELY based on the fact that the company hasn’t said anything yet. They don’t have to say anything. No news is good news. If AGENDA was bad (and its been unblinded for a MONTH now), then they would have put out PRs that said “We are very optimistic about a Tesetaxel partnership”.

IMHO, the data is knock-em dead. Long and strong with just under 7k shares. GLTA
