Why throw my money at the ask when more than half the time fills are made at the ASK, it comes back down and hits the bid?

Given that we can barely maintain the gains we get on updays, why in the world would I (or anyone in their right mind) toss money down a deepening hole?

Too much risk. I'll take my chances with waiting a little more and get in marginally lower. If the Company/Mgmt want to see solid PPS performance ... they should do something that warrants it. Not expect equity traders to inflate the value of the trading equity, and baghold.
