The next hurdle I see for Neom, Neustar, partners and anyone that creates marketing campaigns with them is the fact that it simply isn't going to be an easy target market to hit. Since this is such a new technology which can now be implemented, marketers are going to have to promote 'pioneering marketing' campaigns which basically teach end users (people who will do the clicking) what exactly it is and the benefits the consumers will get out of it...as a whole.

Once the public understands what the general idea is and what the benefits are, then companies can start using specifically targeted campaigns, whether corporate based or direct to the consumer. Personally, I think this job of pioneer marketing falls on Neom and Neustar...if they can do that then it will save companies from having to do it themselves, thus allowing them to focus on their individual products. I think IM words of 2nd half of 2010 being huge is right on, b/c it's going to take a while to teach everyone outside of the mobile industry what exactly these codes are, how they work, and most importantly how its going to benefit them. Neoms target market ultimetly is the public, because if we don't understand then we won't use them.

This is a generalized website that outlines consumer behavior and marketing strategy. There is a plethora of info out there, I suggest doing your own DD and reading a journal of some sort for more credibility.
