But how can they know if they don’t even take the time to look at it? That is all CPD is asking of PSNH. That is what the PUC will require PSNH to do through these hearings IMO. The reason PSNH didn’t want to look at it is because they knew it would be a better offer then Laidlaw and that would require them to buy their power, which would effectively kill Laidlaw in Berlin. It is well known that the real reason PSNH is supporting Laidlaw is because they want the plant. That’s the bottom line. But State law already makes sure that can’t happen. This has all been a stall tactic by PSNH to allow Laidlaw time to try and get the plant running. But like I continue to say, there are just too many other obstacles in the way. Time will tell. But in the end I predict that reasoning will prove to be fact in the end.
