Don't everyone jump down my throat all at once but I have a question.

Because Scanbuy "settled" does it imply our patent (IP) is confirmed beyond challenge?

I mean wouldn't it have been better for a court/judge to put its stamp of approval on the IP by us prevailing against Scanbuy in a court case?
