Sure, lots of people prefer being a guru or teacher rather than being under-the-gun all the time as a trader. Many have started here (and on S.I.) and moved on to opening their own hedge funds (Dr. Stox) or private for-a-fee trading rooms (O.J.) or become paid trading commentators (Mishedlo aka Mike Shedlock at The Daily Reckoning) and several have even had books on trading published (Trader Allen aka Allen Farley, Dr. Stox aka Tomas Carr). They make more money or just prefer teaching others to trade or trading OPM than trading for their own accounts. But the really great traders, like Zeev, just love to trade. That is what they do. That is what motivates them, the thrill of the chase I suppose.
