it did not open at .0035 and it did not hit .0035 until the buying pressure kicked in.

Look at the main board for aotl and it will show that it was at .0032.

The ask price the day before was .0032. it just so happened that a buy went through before or after the bell i dont care. the buy went through on what the ask price was today which was the SAME ASK PRICE THE DAY BEFORE.

Now if you would tell me that the buy went through at .0035 or .004 than i would agree with you that it gapped up because that is higher than what the day before ask was.

You have to look at what the bid ask were the day before and also today. They were the same. Like i said on a stock like this and many others you will have a spread on the bid and ask in the begining because of it type of stock. it will tighten up in a run.

if any stock gets whacked at the end of the day with a sell and closes like that and then the ask stays the same from the day before that is not a gap.
