"The “younger” folks are running the city now and are pushing their forwarding thinking agenda of change and progression."

Wow, sounds familiar on a grander scale. The progressives think they can run the economy minus capitalism. I know I'm not "on the ground" in Berlin but I can say with complete confidence that no businesses are beating down city hall's doors to relocate in Berlin. Therefore, it would be wise for the sake of the community to welcome any business interested in Berlin. Berlin should be supporting both CPD and Laidlaw!

Here's a weird concept; if you get businesses to open up and they become successful, other businesses will feed off of them and open up in the area. See, the city of Berlin needs revenue and they get that from taxes. There will be no taxes if there are no businesses.

So the progressives are trying to wipe Berlin off the map and make it a ghostown. The older and wiser citizens know what Berlin needs and if the progressives were smart they would wake up and listen to their elders. all imo
