All this back and forth w/ mr goldseeker is meaningless. Mata, that was an excellent post. Thank you. Goldseeker, it appears at one time you had uncanny foresight. IMO, you nailed it. High five!
"They will not be a competitor for Abbott (Inverness). This company is into point of care tests." That is important, and explains why Abbott AMENDED the licensing agreement. In reality, they did nothing at Abbott that was helpful to Dr Moro. It was Moro who did all the heavy lifting. You said, "I know Dr. Moro was not pleased with the progress by Abbott." You remember the FDA was all over Abbott about their diagnostics division and they thought they were going to be bought by GE. At that point priorities were rearranged. Then you said," If Abbott wanted to return the product or had initiated it, I think the release would have just stated that Abbott had given notice to return the license. Why would Abbott participate in a scam to conjure up a cover story of higher royalties? That creates liability on Abbotts part so I don't think the new terms were created to scam bocx investors."
Again mr goldseeker you were almost correct about Inverness except because of the financial meltdown Inverness's Clondiag system PIMA did not have their HIV test acceptable until the late summer of 2009. You said, "Iverness is anticipating the launch of their HIV product on the Clondiag system in late 2008." Now what comes next is VERY important and is another quote by you, mr goldseeker, "I would anticipate RECAF being on their system and in trials in less than a year. Also, they would not have licensed the product if it could not be adapted to their system nor would they have licensed it if there was any question as to the market value." And here we are today. Impressive foresight to say the least. I have to give you credit where credit is due. Nice job.
So we can thank you for filling in the blanks. Add to that, IMO, we will shortly be in great financial shape, and IMO, there will be a rapid launch of Oncopet. Thanks Gold for clearing that up, and have a good night.
