Yeah, I'll try to explain... <g>
As I trade Rydex Velocity and Venture funds my proxy is the QQQ, and my timeframe is only one day. (Tomorroy hopefully similar to May 8th, in this case)
So what I ment to say was that on May 8th QQQ opened with a (sizable) gap, the low of the day never went significantly below the opening, and it closed very near the end of the day.
I know that afterwards that gap was closed half way, but that is something to worry about in the coming days. <g>
QQQ went up more than 10% on May 8th. I'll be more than happy with >4% tomorrow.
