This may sound stupid but here goes anyway....

I noticed they keep raising the bid. I'm still kinda new to the game but it seems that would probably be a good thing. I'm looking around for info and trying to understand it but not having too much luck.... A dumbed down explanation for that anyone??? Thanks!
