There doesn't need to be cause to walk away. Any joint venture is just a call option. I would have no clue Abbott's intentions, just putting it out there as a potential risk since surely abbott will be doing an extensive portfolio review of Solvay. We're not talking about a novel program here. For all we know abbott bid on the program but lost to solvay or maybe they looked and passed.
