So, getting such a (formerly) prestigious award for talking about doing something is OK in your book?

How do you feel about school athletics where no score is kept?

What about someone being promoted based on race, or sex?

Are you in favor of those concepts?

Hey, I'm seven days, now, into a new novel - do I qualify for the Nobel Literature Prize?

If you're sending kudos, then surely you must have some idea of what he did to deserve the award. Otherwise, you'd be able to say he did nothing, and does not deserve it, rather than dodging the issue.
