George Town, May 14, 2004 At the request of investors, the Board of Directors of Endeavour Mining Capital Corp. (“Endeavour” or “Corporation”) has decided to supplement the Corporation’s quarterly earnings reports with regular monthly updates of its net asset value (“NAV”) per share. On the Corporation’s most recent month end of April 30, 2004, the NAV per share was US$3.23 per share (or approximately CDN$4.43 per share). According to Bill Koutsouras, Chief Financial Officer, “Due to recent volatility in the mining equity markets, investors have requested more frequent information on the performance of our merchant banking investments. Providing current book values, otherwise known as net asset values, in addition to our quarterly earnings results will, in our opinion, allow investors to better assess the prospects for the Corporation.”
