I was told I had no right to making the company to live up to their last PR.
There was nothing for them to live up to. They said this is when it was to transpire.
I personally do not believe this information is as important as the company meeting what they say they are going to do.
They did say what they were going to do.

If the company said in a news release that,'' while at a luncheon the other day we found doing business with Tootsum and Snorty to be very lucrative''. Would we need a pr to tell us where the luncheon was ? or, what was on the menu ?
When you talk to the company, maybe you shouldn't get the impression that whats coming from your end of the conversation holds as much weight as you think it does.
