Why would the UNODC want a scientific relationship with anyone? I can understand they want to utilize the best and most efficient technologies out there, but why would they want to get in the ring on the development side of things? Other than a customized product, what do they have to gain? I really don't know. It's possible they have very specific needs which can only be met by having an extremely close relationship. This is great for both parties. (Talk about guaranteed business for IDTA...)
Obviously from the "affiliation" aspect, IDTA has everything to gain. Look at the volume that was created based on the last PR.
If this 'scientific relationship' expedites or otherwise improves the court approval, then I'm all for it. At the UN level, which court are we talking about? If this means the Hague, then I can only believe this would mean broad acceptance across the courts of many countries.
