Numbers question:

Why does my trading site reflect 198 Million shares outstanding while Laidlaw’s website reflects the following as of 10/1/2009?

“Common Shares Outstanding: 2,227,347,359 as of 10/1/09
Common Shares Authorized: 3 billion”

Am I missing something – or am I on to something???
