I think that if SPNG had falsely claimed and hyped a future relationship with D&T, that D&T's lawyers would have been all over it right then. SPNG management would surely know that, and would not make such an announcement only to have it immediately and publicly batted down as bogus. In fact, no such thing happened when SPNG made that announcement, and if silence from D&T in that case means anything, it means assent.

The assumption there is D&T would make it public: Certainly it would not be to SPNG's advantage to do so.

More likely, D&T is not aware they're name has been used by some BB issue that's now been suspended.
