I have not been in nearly as much buisness as you. But I do have had to make buisness on a daily basis. Only thing I can think of is this.

1.) At some point even if A has the goods to deliver B may say look you owe me soooo much that i just cannot take on anymore risk unless the situation is tilted so far in my favor I cannot loose either way. So A. says ok B whatever you need me to do i will do.

2.) Now IMO even with 550mill Ray's deal may have saved Genta.

3.) 550 mill is still not bad IMO going into next year. And the next round of financing will probaley be like 10 mill shares in a public offering in the 4-8 dollar range not bad (obviously depending on AGENDA).

4.) If you have 10 apples that you need to sell for 1 dollar and no one is willing to buy them at some point your gonna sell them for .25-.50 to get rid of the apples before they get bad, Well if you sell the the first 5 apples for .25-.50 you may actually ask over a 1.00 on the last 5 because demand picks up and the apple are still good. Just my way of looking at thing because I am in the fresh produce buisness. Sometimes you sell for a loss then demand quickly changes because of the weather, supplies etc.. and you actually sell the second half for even more than the original asking price offsetting the intial loss and original target for a profit.. Just like anything else.

At some point Genta's demand will go back up and hopefully we get awesome results soon

edit car ready, be back later. one more bell closer lol
