You've got your A/S mixed up with the A/S. spng "issued" to RM. And spng received in return a right to buy them back at a certain pps, 40% discount to the market. RME is spng's finance arm -- just like other companies have. In this instance, when spng buys back the shares which were "issued" to RME, spng will retire them. And place them in its treasury.
