Unless you espouse the contrarion/conspiracy/manipulation view of the market. Let's say someone big knew spsnq was going to zero, and they wanted to profit from it, so they run it up and short it. Sort of like they did with gm and any number of others...

If cemjq is going to be successful, then we'd expect the opposite to happen. They would hold it down as long as possible to go long and load the boat before positive news came out...
